About the Bird Series
Several summers ago, a pair of Carolina Wrens nested off my porch and raised two fledglings. Inspired by their song, I picked up my binoculars, bird guide, and folding chair to seek out my other winged neighbors.

As I embarked on my journey as a birder, I started illustrating the birds around me...and I haven't stopped since. The Bird Series features over 50 birds in North America and beyond.
